A sincere, proficient mendicant gives these up, dispels, eliminates, and obliterates them.\nWhen they’ve been given up and eliminated, there are middling corruptions: sensual, malicious, or cruel thoughts. A sincere, proficient mendicant gives these up, dispels, eliminates, and obliterates them.\nWhen they’ve been given up and eliminated, there are fine corruptions: thoughts of family, country, and status.
