having his meal in the presence of that nun.\nWhile he was eating, she attended on him with drinking water and a fan, and she flirted with him.\nBut he dismissed her, saying,\n“Don’t do that;\nit’s not allowable.”\n“Before you did such and such to me, but now you can’t even take this much.”\nAnd she dropped the water vessel on his head and struck him with the fan.\nThe nuns of few desires complained and criticized her,\n“How could a nun hit a monk?” …\n“Is it true, monks, that a nun did this?”\n“It’s true, sir.”\nThe Buddha rebuked her,\n“How could a nun hit a monk?\nThis will affect
